Who we are 

The London Kitchen Co Ltd, trading as The London Kitchen Company, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Registered in England and Wales, company number 10590180 Registered office: 210 Railway Arches, Grove Green Road, LONDON E11 4AJ.

The information we collect 

When you enquire about or use our services, we collect: 

Contact details: your name, address, phone number and email address. 

Information about your property: measurements, photographs, plans and drawings, and details needed for access, delivery and parking. 

Your design brief: your requirements, preferences and choices for your kitchen. 

Records of our work together: correspondence, quotations, invoices and payments. 

Photographs of your finished kitchen, and your name or the area you live in, but only if you have agreed to this. 

How we use it, and why 

To provide our services: to prepare designs and quotations, order your kitchen, arrange delivery and installation, and manage your project. We need this information to carry out our contract with you. 

To meet our legal obligations: for example, keeping financial records for tax purposes. 

To deal with queries, guarantee claims and disputes: this is in our legitimate interests and yours. 

For our portfolio and marketing: only where you have agreed. You can withdraw your agreement at any time by emailing us, and we will not use further photographs of your kitchen. We cannot recall material that has already been published, for example in printed magazines. 

We do not send marketing emails or newsletters. If that changes, we will only send them with your agreement. 

Who we share it with 

We only share your information where it is needed to carry out your project or run our business: 

our suppliers, fitters and other subcontractors, for example so they can deliver to and work at your property; 

trades working on your project, where we are managing it on your behalf; 

people who help us run the business, such as our virtual assistants and our accountant; and 

the providers of the software we use to store and manage information, including our customer records system, project management software, and Microsoft OneDrive. 

Some of these software providers may store information outside the UK. Where they do, they are required to protect it to the standard required by UK data protection law. 

We never sell your information. 

How long we keep it 

We keep your information for 10 years after your project is completed. This covers our guarantee period, the time within which claims can be made, and the period we must keep financial records. After that, we will delete it, apart from photographs you have agreed we can use in our portfolio. 

Your rights 

You have the right to: 

ask for a copy of the information we hold about you; 

ask us to correct anything that is wrong; 

ask us to delete your information, or to stop or limit how we use it, where the law allows; and 

withdraw your agreement to us using photographs of your kitchen.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so that we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
